Storm Area 51 Extraterrestrial Gallery Night
Seville Quarter’s Arts Row
Friday, September 20th ~ 5:00pm - 10:00pm
"We come in peace, take us to your leader…for drinks." - Area 51.
Ancient Chinese wisdom says, “May you live in interesting times.” Well, we definitely live in interesting times and the Storming of Area 51 has UFO Nerds ready to “See them Aliens”. Thanks to the viral popularity of a tongue-in-cheek event called “Storm Area 51 ~ They Can’t Stop All of Us”, scheduled for September 20, 2019, 1.7 million people have said they are showing up despite the threat of “deadly force”. While the raid itself may be a big joke, it has developed a life of its own with pop-culture imagination.
Seville Quarter and Bud Light Beer have teamed up to support the would-be raiders with a Bud Light Area 51-inspired Alien Gallery Night Party. Seville Quarter will feature a Spaced-Out inspired Friday Happy Hour Cook-Out Menu, and since we’ve been getting a lot of hype about people wanting to bring their Alien in on Gallery Night for free Bud Light beer, any Space Alien that escapes Area 51 and shows up at Seville Quarter on Friday, September 20th will be offered a Bud Light. Even ET has been “phoning home!” Best Space Alien Contest will be held Friday night at 11:00pm in Phineas Phogg’s. Winner will receive a “Spaced-Out” prize package valued at $500!!!
True to form for covert action involving a top-secret military facility, Bud Light & Seville Quarter officially would only comment on the matter via an anonymous spokesperson: “Whether you’re from this planet or another galaxy, nothing says ‘welcome to our planet’ like a few beers," said Seville Quarter's Anonymous Spokesperson. "The way we see it, there’s no better way to show these aliens ‘we come in peace’ than a few BLs. Who knows? Maybe a few beers will make this a Party rather than a Raid. We don’t want to side against the U.S. military and Nevada law enforcement or be on the wrong side of history, but if we are going to have extraterrestrial activity with Alien’s and universally recognized Bud Light Beer, then Seville Quarter in Downtown Pensacola will be the place to be.” If this Area 51 raid goes south, Seville Quarter and Bud Light hope humanity’s new alien overlords like light beer.
"Greetings Earthlings. This is the famous Area 51, We know of no space beer by any other life form which is brewed and aged to be more refreshing. Our cryogenic aging produces a light-bodied space lager with a fresh taste, a crisp, clean finish, and a smooth drinkability. Take us to your leader...for drinks." - Area 51.
