Pensacon 2020 preview: What to know and where to go for activities, after-parties and more

Super-Retro '80s Gallery Night Concert featuring Jukebox Superhero at Seville Quarter (Friday, 7 p.m.): Doors are at 7 p.m., and the show is at 8 p.m. This '80s tribute act features your favorite characters from DC Comics alongside the biggest pop and rock hits of the '80s with a modern-day twist. Address: 130 E. Government St.
Pensacon is primed to take over Pensacola for the seventh time this weekend, and that take over doesn't just apply to the hundreds of activities happening at the Pensacola Bay Center, the event's primary home.
A plethora of Pensacola restaurants, bars, breweries and more will get into the spirit with Pensacon-themed pre- and post-parties and activities.

The convention itself runs from Friday through Sunday.
