DeLuna Fest Lineup to be Announced PNJ.com Julio Diaz DeLuna Fest organizers tonight will announce more than 60 acts set to appear at the four-day music festival on Pensacola Beach in October via a downtown Pensacola scavenger hunt. Registration opens at 4 p.m. at The Fish House, 600 S. Barracks St., for the DeLuna Fest Mission for the Musicians Scavenger Hunt. The hunt will start at 6 p.m. and will culminate at Seville Quarter, 130 E. Government St., where the lineup will be revealed and an after-party will feature performances by local bands Eerie Rockwell and Mr. Fahrenheit. Local businesses will participate by providing clues to participants (in teams of as many as five people) that lead them to the grand reveal of the lineup. Participants must have team names and IDs ready at registration. Participants who are under 21 will be marked with an X before the event starts. Each team must visit 10 local businesses to gain clues to the next clue location. Along the trip, your team will participate in obstacles to get its next clue. Each new clue will hold the name of five bands in the lineup. At the end of the dash, participants will have 10 cards and will know the names of 50 bands in the 2011 DeLuna Fest lineup. The first team to finish with all 10 clues gets two festival tickets per person. There will be prizes for other teams, as well as prizes for the best costumes. To gain entry into the after-party, participants must have all 10 cards. Otherwise, they will have to wait until 9:30 p.m. and pay a small cover charge. While 50 bands will be discovered in the hunt, more than 60 including two headliners will be announced today. Look for the official lineup announcement at 9:30 p.m. on GoPensacola.com.
