24th annual Emerald Coast Beer Festival
6 p.m. Thursday and 5:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 5 and 6. Seville Quarter, 130 E. Government St. The longest-running beer festival on the Gulf Coast kicks off on Thursday with a five-course beer pairing dinner featuring handcrafted beers from Parish Brewing Company out of Broussard, Louisiana. The festival kicks into full gear on Friday with beer samples featuring micro-brewed beverages from more than 45 breweries from throughout the United States, highlighting the Southeast and Gulf Coast region. Additionally, there will be over a dozen regional homebrew clubs as well as the major regional beer distributors. $25/$30 general admission; $75/$80 VIP admission.
