Emerald Coast BeerFest

The Emerald Coast Beer Festival is an event designed to allow the public to taste a large variety of beers. This is an opportunity to sample all styles of beer and determine your preferences. Beers from microbreweries, specialty bottled beers and homebrewed beers will be available for tasting. The event will also include food vendors and free entertainment. This year’s event is Friday, September 10, 2010 and will be The BIGGEST BEER TASTING ON THE GULF COAST.

The Beer Tasting event will be held at Seville Quarter, 130 E. Government St. Patrons will have the chance to sample beers and ales from:

Distributors and brewers will be pouring samples of beers inside and outside of Seville Quarter. Knowledgeable representatives will be on hand to answer question about home brewing, micro breweries and the art of craft-brewed beers and ales.

We encourage you to purchase your tickets early since there are only 2500 general admission and 100 VIP tickets available. If you’ve enjoyed the event in the past, please attend again and bring your friends who would enjoy finely crafted beers. We have increased the space to be used and have also increased the number of breweries attending. The first 2,500 participants will receive a souvenir festival beer tasting glass.

General Admission: Advance tickets from a club member or by mail for $20, or from a ticket outlet for $25, The day of the event the tickets will be $30 (only 2500 available), VIP tickets are available for $50. Entry at 6:00 P.M. Beer tasting of over 200 finely crafted beers.

VIP admission: $50 (only 100 available). Entry at 5:15 P.M. Plus entry to VIP room where there will be special beers from the attending breweries. Hor’dourves will be also be served.

Designated driver: $5 at the gate only.

The charities which this year’s Festival is supporting are:
Big Brothers/Big Sisters: Helps children reach their potential through professionally supported, one-to-one relationships.

The Independence Fund: Provides the necessary tools to assist our wounded veterans in regaining their independent living, and physical and emotional well-being.

The Belmont Arts & Cultural Center: Provides art education in the Belmont-Devilliers community with the goal of revitalizing that community’a art and cultural heritage.
